Description:

Sandwiched between two oceans and divided by the tail of the Andes, Patagonia is a land of vast horizons and unending possibilities. Patagonia has excited the imagination ever since Magellan’s expedition. The diversity of this region is unparalleled with forested lakes, Pacific fjords, big-sky steppes, and coastlines that are still wild. Five centuries after its discovery, Patagonia remains an everlasting symbol of the unknown, a place where anything is possible. It continues to lure the most adventurous to the end of the earth.

Itinerary:

Day 1:

Arrive in Buenos Aires. Experience a half-day city tour. Enjoy a tango show with dinner and wine-tasting. (D)

Day 2:

Fly to El Calafate. Traditional Argentine dinner. (D)

Day 3:

Ice-trek on Perito Moreno glacier. (B)

Day 4:

Shuttle to the lovely little mountain town of El Chalten. Trek to Laguna del los Tres, a beautiful lake beneath Mt Fitz Roy. (B)

Day 5:

Hike to Laguna Torre for breath-taking views of Cerro Torre. (B)

Day 6:

Hike a fantastic trail with views of Cerro Torre and Fitz Roy Massifs. (B)

Day 7:

Fly to Bariloche. (B, D)

Day 8:

Half day kayak exploring Moreno and Nahuel Haupi Lake. Half day hike with delightful outdoor lunch by lake in a secluded bay. (B, L, S)

Day 9:

Pedal unique single track along the colorful emerald waters of the Manso River. (B, L, S)

Day 10:

Beautiful trek among hanging glaciers in the Mount Tronador area. (B, L, S, D)

Day 11:

Our Patagonia adventure ends this morning as we depart Bariloche for Buenos Aires to meet our connecting flights home. (B)

Cost:

  • Early bird special for those who book prior to July 8th, 2016: $4800 per person (double occupancy)
  • After July 8, 2016: $5350 per person (double occupancy)

$750 per person deposit is required to reserve a space. Fully refundable up to 95 days prior to departure. Final payment due 95 days prior to departure.

  • International airfare (approximately $1200-1500/person)
